Round One of the Classic 8 JV playoffs started on Wednesday night and Kenosha took on a very good Marquette High School JV Navy team.  Kenosha took the early lead but Marquette would not go away or make it easy.  In the end it was a nail biter with Marquette coming on strong in the second half, but Kenosha was able to hang on for the 8-7 win and move on to the second round on Friday night against Elkhorn.  In the end the difference were the possessions Kenosha was able to gain on the face-offs by Kane Palmer, the very good goal tending by Patrick Stalman and timely goals when they were needed.  In the end the Raptors got 3 goals each from Gavin Gutman and Ashton Valentine and 2 from Sebastian West.
